MGI Report: Zuora Expands Monetization Vision

Following Zuora’s Subscribed San Francisco 2017, MGI published Subscribed 17 – Zuora Expands Monetization Vision, a report summarizing the world’s largest conference devoted to the Subscription Economy.

According to the MGI report, “Zuora, synonymous with subscription billing, presented its most comprehensive view of monetization yet and detailed a number of new products around its micro-services based platform approach.”

MGI’s report provides highlights from the event including a summary of the new core platform, Zuora Central, and featured stories from customers such as GE, Caterpillar, Fender, and Symantec.

The report also focuses on key issues including:

  • How will companies automate core business processes by 2020?
  • How are best-in-class companies digitizing new recurring revenue business models?
  • Which vendors will make the transition to agile applications? Who are the losers?

Here’s just one excerpt from MGI’s report. You can download the full report here.

“In past events Tien proselytized the subscription economy, and announced the demise of ERP systems. This presentation was aimed squarely at making the case for a new generation of monetization capabilities that integrate with – and ultimately supersede – the serial, monolithic applications used to support quote to cash in many companies today. It was energetic and enlightening for the audience to hear, and one of the many signs of Zuora’s evolution as an innovator in the subscription space.”
